Month: December 2013
I shot a pilot for an upcoming television talk show (hopefully…fingers crossed). and I learned a lot! I wanted to share with you some photos from that day. Shout out to my lovely co-host, Joann Nichols!
I’m usually the one to keep things under wraps and on the hush until it’s time to reveal, but I always remember what a Church member told me, “What’s for you, is for you, if God has allowed it.”
I fell in love with a video I saw on using Shea butter on natural hair a few months ago and decided to do some research. I’ve been using Shea butter for a number of years on my hair but found that it was too think in it’s natural form. This video encouraged me to try wiping it with a hand blender with added oils for optimal results on my hair. I began to look into oils that benefited hair growth and skin care and made my own blend. After months of experimenting, I’ve been able to master my body and hair products, and I’m ready to share it with all of you! Talk about turning your hobby into your hustle, I’ve suddenly turned into a #naturalista DIY maven! I’ll be getting into body scrubs as well but I decided this would be the perfect time to share my products with the world.
Whipped Shea Body Butters
- Unscented – For those with scent allergies
- Lavender Vanilla – My most popular product, the Lavender calming scent mixed with vanilla properties makes it the perfect go-to body butter
- Shea Cocoa Nut – This oil is a favorite among men. This natural oil is a combination of Shea nut oil and cocoa oil with a dash of fragrance. The subtle scent is perfect for both men and women.
- White Musk – Frangranced with the Classic Musk scent, my newest product is perfect for the cooler months.
